Note 1:
You can watch
the whole movie (or your teacher can share it with
you in short clips). Keep in mind that in the movie the
inhabitants are natural numbers which are the numbers that
we count with. For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc are all
natural numbers.
Note 2: If you are a teacher you can heighten your
students' anticipation by playing the movie one clip at a
time and have your students share their thoughts and
answers to your questions at each stopping point. To
begin, play video
clip 1 of 8. The 9th clip is saved for the end of
the story. If you are a teacher, you should
do the Group
Fractions Activity next with your students. If
you are not a teacher and you already watched the movie
continue to page 2.
