The Single Cube Game
In this activity you use a Scratch Applet to roll one cube
many times. The object is to see if you can predict which
event (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6) will come up most often and win
the race.
- You should see something like the figure below. The
computer rolled one cube 861 times and 4 was the
winner.
- Open the Rolling
Cube Microworld. Click on the green flag.
- What happened this time?
- Can you predict which number will win? Explain.
- Is this a fair game? In other words, does each outcome
number have the same chance of winning? Explain.
