The Three Cube Game. Who will win?
In this activity you will use a Scratch Applet to roll three
cubes many times. The object is to see if you can predict
who will come up most often and win the race.
- You should see something like the figure below. In
this case the computer rolled two cubes 114 times and 9
and 12 are tied for the lead. Can you predict which
number is going to win? Explain.
- Can you predict now which number will win? Explain.
- Run the race many times. See if you can determine
which number or numbers have the best chance of winning.
