Numbertown ---- The Lineup

“I’m not guilty,” argues  2/3. 2/3's lawyer, 3/10, wants to get 2/3 out on bail. But first 2/3 has to appear in a lineup. Both 9 the baker and 763 are the prime witnesses who saw what 2/3 did at the scene of the crime.

2/3 again fooled everybody as they couldn’t agree on which one was 2/3. So the sheriff reluctantly let everyone in the lineup go. The question however remains. Was 2/3 in the lineup? Or did he just disappear?

In the end 2/3, tired of constantly running away from the sheriff, went to the sheriff dressed in its lineup disguise (.6 bar) and surrendered. The sheriff too was tired of chasing 2/3 so 736 asked the baker what they should do with 2/3.

“Oh, let’s drop the charges. 2/3 is a good guy and it was its first offense,” said 9.

When 2/3 heard that, it was overjoyed and went back to Fractionville to be with its fellow fractions. 9 and 763 walked back towards Numbertown still wondering who point 6 bar was, not sure if it was really 2/3. When they got back in town they watched the final segment of The Weird Number.
